Choose from four derbies and 18 cars, then take on five rival drivers in Rustbowl Arena, each with a fighting style of their own. They go after you and each other, so watch your health: hits bend parts and tear them off, damage working parts like the radiator and steering, and wrecks stay in the arena. The last car running wins. Multiplayer is still to come. No download or sign-up: just press start. It is early, so take it for a drive and tell us below whether we should keep building it.

How to play

KeyboardW A S D or the arrow keys to drive, Space for the handbrake.
Phones and tabletsUse the arrows to steer, GO to accelerate, BRK to brake or reverse and HB for the handbrake.
ControllersXbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and most others: right trigger or A to go, left trigger or B to brake, left stick to steer.
Stuck?Press R, Y on a controller, or tap the ⟲ button to get back on your wheels.
Camera and soundC or CAM changes the camera. M turns the sound on or off, and P pauses.
